 Easy Stir Fried Rice


Fried rice is cooked rice that has been stir –fried, and is usually mixed with eggs, vegetables, bacon, and seafood.

Preparation time- 10 minutes
Cooking time- 30 minutes

Ingredient                                           Quantity
White long grain rice                           1 cup
Peanut oil                                            2 teaspoons
Eggs, lightly beaten,                            2
Rasher middle bacon                          3
Garlic cloves, crushed                        1
Green onion, chopped                        3   
Soy sauce                                           1 tablespoons 
sugar                                                   1 teaspoon

Method
1. Cook rice in a saucepan of boiling water for roughly 10 minutes .Drain and spread on a tray. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until cold.
2. Heat a wok over medium – high heat. Add half the oil. Swirl to coat. Add half the egg. Swirl to cover base of wok. Cook for 30 seconds or until just set. Lift from wok. Transfer to a board. Repeat with remaining egg. Roughly chop egg.
3. Heat remaining oil in wok. Stir-fry bacon 3to5 minutes or until browned, add garlic, onion. Stir-fry for 2minutes. Add sugar and rice.
4. Stir-fry for 3to5 minutes or until rice is heated through and soy sauce. Stir-fry for 1 minute.
5. Season with white pepper.
