Lamb- lamb generically
sheep meat, are the meat of domestic sheep. Lamb is red meat because it’s high
in myoglobin, a protein in muscle what turns red when combined with oxygen but
red meat is that it is usually high in saturated fat. In the 100 gm lamb has
protien2g, fat 21g and calories 294.
Lamb kofta is a yummy
recipe. It is served rice, raita and naan. Kofta dishes are popular are cooked
in species and gravy.

Ingredients
1 kg lamb mince
1 small brown onion,
chopped
2 garlic cloves,
crushed
½ teaspoon dried
chilli flakes
1 tablespoon chopped
fresh mint leaves
1 tablespoon chopped
fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
2 teaspoons mild
paprika
½ teaspoon ground ginger
2 teaspoons ground
cumin
1 teaspoon ground
coriander
Method
Place mince, onion,
garlic, chilli flakes, mint, parsley, paprika, ginger, cumin and coriander in a
bowl. Mix to combine.
Shape ¼ cup lamb
mixture at a time into sixteen 8cm- long sausages.
Thread 1 sausage onto
each skewer. Place on a large baking tray. Refrigerate for 20minutes or until
firm.
Heat an oiled
barbecued plate on high, add koftas, and reduce heat to or low cook, turning
occasionally, for 10minutes until cooked through.
