Chocolate Orange Torte
Dark chocolate torte is an impressive alternative to a

Dark chocolate
200g
Caster sugar 1

Eggs whites 4
Double cream 300ml
Glace orange
peeled 1
cup
Walnut, halves 1

Icing sugar for
dust
Method
1. Preheat oven to 180C, grease and line the base of
two 15 cm spring from pans with baking paper. Combine all the ingredients glace
orange, walnut, chocolate and half of sugar in a large bowl.
2. Whisk the eggs until firms peaks form; add the
remaining sugar, a tablespoon at a time, whisking the mixer properly until
sugar dissolves. Add the orange mixture to gently fold until just combined.
3. Transfer the mixer in to the greased and lined pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes or until dry to touch and crisp. Remove
from pan and rest until cool.
4. Carefully turn a cake out onto a platter. Spoon the
cream over the top of the cake. Dust with icing sugar and decorate with orange
slices to serve.
