Poached Eggs
Eggs re a cheap but
nutritious food, it contains few calories, but they are packed with proteins,
vitamins, minerals and healthy fats. Eggs are delicious and extremely versatile;
eggs can be cooked in many ways such as boiled, poached, fried, baked and
scrambled. Eggs are use in High Protein Recipes such as cake , pastries ,
creamed eggs on toast, chawanmushi, eggah and egg curry.

Ingredients Unit
Water 1.5l
White vinegar 15ml
Eggs 8
Method
1. Pour the water into saucepan add vinegar bring to
the boil. Reduce the heat to low fame.
2. Break the eggs into individual bowls to check for
broken yolks. Gently slide one egg at a time into the simmering poaching
liquid. Allow 15 to 20 seconds between each egg for the water to regain temperature.
3. Adjust the temperature to just below simmering and
poach for 3 minutes or until the white is firm and the yolks are still runny,
yet warm.
4. Remove the eggs and serve hot or refresh in cold
water for later use.
