Quiche is a French
tart containing of pastry crust filled with savoury custard and pieces of
cheese, meat and vegetables. It can be served cold or hot. Quiche is full of
proteins and a nutrient it contains all the essential amino acids your body
needs thus provides a source of complete protein.

Ham 125g
Small onion 1
Grated tasty cheese 180g
Self –raising flour 50g
Milk 1
cup
Salt and pepper to
taste
Spinach cooked
Method
1. Pre-heat oven to 180C. Grease a 5 cup capacity pie
dish.
2. Fry onion and blanch spinach. Combine ham, onion,
cheese, flour, salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Scatter over base of dish. Whisk
eggs and milk together in the jug and pour over ham mixture add onion; spinach
to pastry base spread evenly, pour in egg mixture and sprinkle cheese evenly on
top.
3. Cook for about 35 minutes or until golden. Cool
slightly. Serve cold or warm.
